Abu Dhabi, July 2008 - Rotana proudly launched ‘The Accelerated Refinement Of Talent’ (TAROT), the fast-track development programme targeting fresh graduates, local and expatriate, as well as existing Rotana team members. 

TAROT proactively aims at developing a continuous flow of Talent that will meet the evolving need of professional hoteliers in our rapidly expanding brand. “By the year 2012, our manpower headcount will exceed 18,000 team members. TAROT is one of many programmes we are launching at Rotana to align our talent acquisition and deployment strategy with the overall strategic plan of the company”, said Joseph Abou Yaghi, Corporate Vice President Human Resources for Rotana.

TAROT measures every aspect of the participant’s progress starting from the selection phase until graduation using multiple tools as psychometric and competencies assessment, scorecards evaluation, projects, and practical real-life demonstrations. TAROT participants will have the opportunity to ‘create their own deck’ and choose the options that best suit their learning styles.

Concluding, Abou Yaghi said “we are expanding at a phenomenal rate.
